Ongoing Training
BCCYS Foster Parents are provided with regular trainings to help ensure they maintain the skills necessary to care for the children in their homes. These trainings are provided in person and virtually with parent's busy schedules in mind.
Team Approach
All foster parents are assigned a caseworker who will maintain regular contact with the family and child.
A foster parent support staff is also available 24/7.
Our approach is team based, and we believe foster parents are an integral part of the team.
Family Events
It's important to us the keep the fun in fostering. We host regularly scheduled events and activities for our foster children and families. These include trips to Kennywood Park, Hayrides, Movies in the Park, and lots more!
Our foster parent support person also partners with Tickets for Kids for additional entertainment opportunities.
Foster children are welcome to use the Beaver County YMCA at no charge.
